MELTFORM 5

Meltform visually combines hand poured colored glass panels into a continuous, rhythmic flow formation. Consisting of two lightboxes installed as a diptych, Meltform 5 emphasizes continuity and fluidity of form as a mirrored pair across a juncture. The pink glass is made using the element of gold, whose chemistry interacts with the silica of glass to form the color pink. The gold theme carries over to the highly polished brass frames, which are visually softened by their deeply curved radius edges.
